Our Programs

Maintaining Continuous Improvement

Kai-Zen Field Hockey will prepare participants for their upcoming season. We believe in keeping our instructional groups to a 1:15 camper to coach ratio. This allows our coaches to get to know the strengths and weaknesses of each camper and provide them with the individual attention necessary for improvement.

During the skill instruction portion of the curriculum the small groups enable us to have less standing and more movement, often referred to as "disguised conditioning." We also have the groups participate in small competitive games throughout the day. These games build the intangible skills of communication, vision, off ball awareness, decision making thus improving the campers overall game knowledge. Our final session of the day involves a fun and competitive all camp 11 vs 11 or 7 vs. 7 tournament. If your daughter is still eager she can play against or with the camp coaches after her evening tournament games. Our week ends with an all camp skit show. Prizes are given for tournament and skit winners.
